Applications for student enrollment in grades K-8 for the 08-09 school are being taken! Download the application below and mail it to: 14732 Bass Drive, Redding Ca 96003. You will then be contacted by someone at the school to set up an orientation meeting. Orientation meetings are required by all students prior to enrollment. To schedule an orientation dial 275-5480. During the summer the office is opened on most Tuesdays from 8:00-12:00. Please leave a message and your call will be returned.
According to California regulations, if there is over-enrollment in a grade level, a lottery drawing must be held for enrollment and waiting lists. The NWDS enrollment lottery is usually held in the middle of May. Please contact the school for more information. |

North Woods is a free public school, serving a rural population in Northern CA, with 40% of its student population qualifying for free and reduced lunches. While there is no fee for enrolling your child, volunteering for five hours per month is strongly encouraged. Most of our parents fulfill this commitment easily, and many volunteer over 100 hours per year! See the Parent Links section for more information on volunteering. |
